In the late 1960s, Bill Hjerpe wrote and recorded a series of studio tracks produced and distributed by EPIC and COLUMBIA Records. (EPIC purportedly called him “the greatest find since [Bob] Dylan.) After these songs failed to gain enough traction to solidify a major record deal, he self-produced his 1970 album "Bill Jerpe," which we re-issued in 2016.
And now, we have finally tracked down and beautifully restored all six of these early studio singles — over 50 years after their original release.
